Why the TV must go to Croma, not Amazon

Buying it on Amazon at ₹65,889 leaves the Croma basket short of ₹3L, which forfeits the 10% bulk discount on everything else. That is worth ₹24,300 to ₹28,600.

Break-even: Croma could charge up to about ₹1,01,000 for that TV and you would still be ahead. At a likely ₹77,000 you save roughly ₹21,500 versus the Amazon route. Adding the chimney at Croma gives further cushion.

Two traps on the AC floor

1. The 2025 model can cost more than the 2026 one. The FTKM35UV16WA (2025) is listed at ₹48,592 while the MTKM35XV16VAA (2026) is ₹38,490. Same tonnage, same star rating, ₹10,000 apart in the wrong direction. Check the suffix.

2. ISEER differs within the same tonnage. The ATKM50XV16 runs ISEER 5.70; the FTKM50XV16 runs 5.2, and costs more. That is roughly 10% worse efficiency for more money. Ask for the ISEER on the label, not the star rating.

Confirm ducted, not ductless

Auto-clean and ducted are unrelated. A ductless (recirculating) hood filters grease and blows the air back into the kitchen; it removes no heat, steam or smell. In a kitchen doing regular tadka that is a materially worse outcome. If a duct route to an exterior wall exists, insist on ducted.

What to ask at Croma

"Is this on the old price or the revised October price?" Indian appliance prices rose 5 to 8 percent on 1 Oct 2026. Retailers still holding pre-hike stock should sell at old rates through Diwali. Ask on every item.
Does installation and copper piping count toward the ₹3L? Four AC installs is roughly ₹5,700 plus copper, which could close the gap on its own.
Does the 10% bulk discount stack with festive and bank offers? Confirmed yes, but reconfirm at billing.
Anchor on the online numbers here. Same LG FHP1209Z5M is listed ₹38,964 to ₹53,990 depending on retailer. That spread is your negotiating room.
